Adapted from a true story, Seventy-Seven Days follows the solitary travels of a Shanghai youth as he crosses on foot the largest and highest-altitude no man’s land on earth – Qiangtang in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. En route, the protagonist meets a half-paralyzed girl on the road as they follow their dreams on a lifetime’s journey. An adventure that brings the viewer through landscapes of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. There, the crew underwent a three-year shoot in nature that saw intimate interactions with highland wolves, Tibetan blue bears and wild yaks.
