Together with the well-known mountaineer Simone Moro, we retrace the life of Gino Soldà, a twentieth-century mountaineering legend and star of memorable feats.
Gino Soldà’s story, a twentieth-century mountaineering legend, is a special one, which begins on March 8, 1907, in Valdagno, Italy, and which saw him star in memorable feats between the 1930s and 1950s. What we are going to recount is the life, truly extraordinary, of a man who knew how to live it to the full, never backing down, with a strong and resolute personality, but at the same time loving and sensitive. We will retrace together with the well-known mountaineer Simone Moro the great climbs of Gino Soldà. Italian landscapes, changed over time, that still remain the scene of challenges that test the physical and mental capacity of many sportsmen and bring the viewer to a reflection on climate change and respect and love for nature. The docu-film traces the entire existence of a man who with humility left a profound mark on society, making a difference and being an example of determination for future generations.
